Hana Brůhová Foltýnová is a head of the Research team “Transport and Mobility” at the Faculty of Social and Economic Studies of Jan Evangelista Purkyne University in Usti nad Labem. She is concerned in sustainable urban mobility, above all in economic and environmental impacts of transport regulation, sustainable transport policies and measures and their monitoring and evaluation, and active transport support.  

She has coordinated or has been a member of a range of international and national research and policy-oriented projects. Hana is an author of a range of scientific publications and promotion of research results. She is a co-author of the Czech national SUMP guidelines, she was a coordinator of SUMP preparation in Litoměřice (2018-2018) and a member of the secretariat of the CIVINET Czech and Slovak Republics (2014-2017).
