Daniela Gamper


Daniela is Expert for Digital Transport Infrastructures and Team Leader of the Team Trends and Technology at the federal agency for techno-political measures - AustriaTech. In this role, she focuses on one side on the development of Europe-wide integrate, multimodal mobility services, which are based on the ‘Linking of Services’ concept as well as is involved in C-ITS developments. She is also Project Manager of the LinkingAlps project, which is high profile project and develops novel technological approaches to establish a fully distributed route planning service throughout the Alpine Space. 

Prior to her appointment as Expert of the federal agency, Daniela has gained extensive project management experience in urban development and real estate projects in China, Hong Kong, the Middle East and North Africa, until she joined academia in 2016. Daniela has conducted research in Oxford (UK) and focussed her work on the investigation of innovation processes of mobility systems. Furthermore, she engaged in research and teaching activities in the field of Smart City, Smart Mobility and Smart City Governance.
