Anke Bracke

Mobiel 21

Anke Bracke is a geographer and researcher for Mobiel 21, where she applies her expertise on the themes of transport poverty, spatial issues and mobility policy to numerous European and Flemish projects. She gained that expertise as a researcher at the Department of Intelligent Systems Engineering at Ghent University, where she researched accessibility in rural areas. In addition, she is one of the founders of Maplix, a spatial platform and research tool to tackle spatial issues in a participatory manner, inspiring a bottom-up approach in spatial planning and design.
